Let's go for 300 'likes' of Genisys...to counter 100 troll sock-accounts

I'm tired of trying to keep 3 or 4 real threads on the front page. Because the troll has 100 sock-accounts (5-10 new sock-accounts per week, to go along with his main accounts), and he pushes all positive threads to the 2nd page within an hour. 24/7, 52 weeks per year. The troll NEVER stops.

But I can easily keep one thread on the front page. Terminator Genisys is a great movie, my favorite movie of the last several years. I loved it.

SO TO ANYONE ELSE WHO LIKED IT, PLEASE GIVE ME A SHOUT-OUT HERE. At least give me a quick 'like'. Or feel free to discuss anything, even honest complaints.

I NEED AT LEAST 100 REPLIES !!!

First off, some facts to counter the lies.

TG is currently at just over $440M. This is $130M over the break-even point (which is double the production budget).

TG had some Chinese investment, and Paramount isn't stupid. So they are probably getting the normal 40% or whatever from the Chinese box-office. Although the Chinese did divert about $15M in TG box-office to their propaganda movies, because they wanted their propaganda movies to look like they were #1. So TG's current box-office should be $455M.

There will be sequels. I'm almost sure of it. Expecting the announcement very soon.

Feel free to counter any more lies right here in this thread. But at least give TG a 'like'.

I thoroughly enjoyed TG, and I hope it gets its sequel, with the added effect of seeing all the trolls spontaneously combust!

More lies:
-It has been proven that China takes 75% of the gross.
-The marketing budget needs to be added to the production budget to determine if the film breaks even or not.
-Everyone hated this movie except for the fans on the imdb page.
-The mere fact critics trashed the movie will make studios more hesitant at making a sequel, even if it makes a profit.
-If Terminator isn't rated R, it automatically sucks and should be boycotted.
-This movie completely ruined the Terminator franchise.

-The marketing budget needs to be added to the production budget to determine if the film breaks even or not.

- Yes it has been proven that China takes %75.
- Yes the marketing budget has to be added because the advertisement money don't grow on the trees. Boxoffice.com lists the total budget as $220 million.
- Majority of people hated it.
- Critics have a major impact on the fate of a sequel if the predecessor struggles in a Box Office (TG). M:I5 got sequel announced just a single day after the release because of %90+ on RT.
- PG-13 TS and TG both sucked so yeah. This is a Terminator not Hannah Montana. You can't terminate with no blood.
- Didn't completely ruin the franchise (thanks to classic T1 and T2 backbone) but severely hurt the reputation of the brand.

I used to get all excited about R-rated movies when I was 10 or 12 years old. Now of course I couldn't care less, and I just look for quality.

Anyone who likes Arnold should love Genisys. He was as tough as he's ever been, if not tougher.

Thanks guys. This thread is off to a good start.

one_below_infinity....yes, that's a good list of some of the troll lies.

Another point that should be addressed here is the critics. Hollywood critics are very biased/political/politically-correct. They often rate based on things other than how good a movie is. If anyone wants to take issue with this, I can give many examples and many reasons why I think they unfairly criticized Terminator Genisys.

Arnold has haters. Some don't like him, and some don't like the type of movies he makes. Critics want to hold-down his blockbuster appeal. This is Arnold's first blockbuster since he was Governor. And Hollywood is especially livid with him over his veto of gay-marriage in California.

The current 6.8 score here shows that audiences generally liked TG. That's a very high score considering the anti-Arnold haters, and his trolls with 100 sock-accounts.

Yeah, some of the critics simply hate Schwarzenegger. It's ridiculous how they let that color their glasses.

I think this is the worst professionally written movie review I've ever read.

Never mind that it's by the left wing Salon website, he actually goes out of his way to attack Arnold as a person rather than do his job and just review the damn movie. Nearly the entire review is spent talking about Arnold's career as a politician and that he's old and washed up now. Pathetic.
