I've just seen this film as part of Film 4's "Australian Season", and thought it was excellent. I'm really glad that Film 4 have shown it, as I would have had no idea how hard the existence would have been for the Indigenous (Aboriginal) Australians in this isolated community in the Central Australian desert, near Alice Springs. Definitely an eye-opener for me. Well done to all involved in the making of this film.
shareI agree. I loved the lack of dialect in this film, I worked in Katherine for a while and I always loved how the aboriginal people would just sit alone in places not seeming to be doing anything, I always wondered what they were thinking about, the silence of this film reminds me of that. wonderful :-)

As an anglo-afro-australian, this film just broke my heart. This is the reality for a lot of folks. This film should be mandatory viewing for anyone wanting to visit the country. 10/10
