Simply put: The best movie of 2010. Is this going to the Academy Awards as foreing picture nominee? If it is...It should also win !
Susanne Bier...You have made a career best movie so far...Congratulations !

From the reviews I read all over the internet, it seems to me that the film has great chances at the Academy Awards. I also really like the Italian entry as foreign film, but it has a way smaller tone that this film. I just can't wait to be able to see it!! Unbelievable, I can't find a UK release date.

Yes, this great film is the official selection of Denmark for the academy awards.

Totally agree, one of the best films I saw in my life. I hope it will win the oscar, Bier deserve it cause all of her films are great!

In a Better World is simply a masterpiece. I really hope and think it will win the Oscar and I haven't even seen the other four nominees yet! No disrespect for the other films, but I LOVE THIS FILM! It is Bier's very best film! It is perfect. Flawlessly told narrative. Captivating and immediate and powerful in every scene! It's amazing and exhausting. It left me breathless and stunned.

DO NOT MISS THIS FILM.

I so wanna watch the movie. Susan Bier directed one of my favorites movies ever Alskar dig for evigt.

Alskar dig for evigt is one of my all time favorite films too, if this film can top that then I'm on board to see it the first chance i get

I beg to differ it's one of the worst films of SB.

The children act was awful in all aspects, there was nil chemistry between the couple (IE the doctor sans border in Africa and his wife back home).

All subplots were extremely forced.

The landscape footage were unnecessary.

All in all huge disappointment.

And your "review" is the worst I have ever read. Or maybe your taste in films just stink ;)
It was an amazing movie, great acted from all the actors, good message, nice landscape footage etc.

I'm with you amtoft-2 !
One of the great films of the past decade, and rightly won the Oscar for Best Foreign Film ! And had to beat two equally great films that year in "Incendies" and "Biutiful". The Foreign films in 2010 were such a higher level above the Hollywood tripe released that year !
