Am I the only person excited about this movie?

Aren't there any Bujalski fans out there?

Also does anybody have any info on the film (storyline, release date, trailers?)

I've enjoyed all his work so far. Hopefully this will be another winner.

I am so mad at myself -- it was playing last week at a theater near me and today I cannot find it playing anywhere.

Damn interfering life.

By the way, is there really a word/name "Ghandi"? Are you perhaps thinking of "Gandhi"?

Yes, it was indeed a spelling error on my part, but I decided to run with it. I've used for a couple years on various different sites. The way I see it Gandhi was a pacifist, so he probably wouldn't be offended.

He might not be offended, but he was a man who was very educated and valued the beneficial application of knowledge.

Perhaps he would feel you are elevating ignorance, or missing an opportunity to expand the intelligence and interests of your fellow humans. I think that might disappoint him.

Saw it at the Oslo International Film Festival a couple of days ago - the first Bujalski movie I've seen. It just blew my mind. I have never seen performances that great and naturalistic, since Cassavetes probably. I doubt I'll se a better movie at the festival (there are 4 days left).
