too inconsistent

The movie is "based" on fact, but it's mostly fiction...and bad fiction at that.
The Robber was consistent in the way he stole from banks. So far so good.
But when the writers had him steal cars, they threw consistency out the window!
First he broke into an empty car with tools and stole it. Next, he carjacked a lady and kicked her out in the woods. Next he snuck into a running car while the guy was entering a garage. And finally, he stole a car after first tying up an old man in home invasion.
Why FOUR different methods!? LOL.
