I think that about sums up most of the elements here.

For a second i thought--by some supernatural force--that the boy would turn (back?) into some kind of captive animal like a horse!

Aside from the horror-from-out-of-nowhere elements, those eyes staring back at me from the wheat stalks would've freaked me the hell out, lol.

This was a pretty good short, and was in the compilation, "Boys on Film 2."

i liked the fact that it didnt go with the mainstream texas chainsaw massacre thing where all main characters are dead, and in fact one survive as a result of gay, not straight love, and that one finally turned against his own kind. you dont get that a lot. i mean, never.

and also i liked that the guy had hope, wanting to get out of there. it shows that he still had some humanity left in him.
