WARNING! SPOLIERS! Ok, so after the final battle...

... and after Elika gives her life, remember when the Prince goes to cut the trees down? Well here's my question: Since there's no more Elika to save you, what would happen if you died? Like, you know where he lays her to rest. Well the ledge beside there, what would happen if the Prince jumped? Or if he jumped over the edge of the cliff behind the tree? Again, so Elika to save him. I've always wondered this.

I'd try it myself, but I only got to play the game cause I rented the X-Box 360 to play it... that's right! I rented an entire system to play a single game :P So worth it thought :)

So, has anyone else tried it? If so, please share, I'm really curious to find out.

So as soon as I regained controll of the prince I thought the same thing to myself.. can I die?! Well the answer is, No. You can't. The game puts up a sheild so to speak on all high ledges, where you can try to jump off till you're blue in the face, but you can only jump vertically. They wont let you go over. :( I was impressed, and admittedly slightly disappointed. :p

thing is, at the bottom of the staircase, run up the wall from the floor so you latch on, then climb along to in front of elika (if you get that),, then drop, prince will survive that fall, so why the barrier there?

He may be able to survive the fall, doesn't mean he can get back up. In any case, you cannot die in this game, no matter how hard you try.
