Need help

I need help with this game.I've healed the Fertile Land and there's this round platform full of grass.I can't figure out what to do next and seem to keep ending up at the same place!!!Elika's compass power tells me to go one way,and then when I get there it tells me to go back to way I came.This is getting irritating!!!!


Can somebody tell me what to do next?

I should have known those alien maggots booby trapped this sub.
