This was a great expose on the destruction of the innocence of children. Being surrounded and exploited all day every day by predatory capitalists through ads for a bunch of rubbish. Children as a commodity is disgusting.

I mean, I grew up in the 90's and yeah some of this stuff was already going on, but it's gotten worse, I was genuinely shocked by some of this stuff, like ads in schools, that *beep* never would have flown in the 90's

If I was a parent, I think I'd have a television, but no cablevision. So what we'd watch would only be well-chosen DVD's. And when a gift of a DVD that didn't fit in with what I felt was appropriate...it would disappear one day...
