Didn't quite capture the feel of Nigeria

I live in Nigeria, those cars used on set as being used in the city were far too dilapidated and old fashioned, even the taxis were atrocious and out of place for a Nigerian city with port harcourt's status in general. They didn't quiet get the feel of Nigerians on the streets (and there are very many nice streets in PH) and the extras were not dressed as every day Nigerians, the militants were accurately presented though. The rich oil moguls and governments officials in Nigeria are far far more flamboyant and ostentatious than represented. The writers didn't do much to contrast the astonishing wealth of some Nigerians against the poverty of so many Nigerians. Too much was focused on the poor. What juxtaposition they may have desired failed. The church scene was well executed as were the bike scenes.

Overall this was a good movie albeit somewhat inaccurate.

Well I got the feel of Nigeria & thought the scenery went exceptionally well w/ the film! I started watching this movie & was very tired but immediately woke up & seen both parts. The acting was very good & I just seen the character Alice in another film w/ her coming from Jamaica to London. Shes a good actress!

I didn't enjoy this that much. My wife is Nigerian so we tuned in and after having visited there last year (only for two weeks) I could tell that it wasn't filmed in Nigeria. The traffic was not at a complete standstill which was an immediate indication! Joking aside, I felt the latter part of this fil came apart with the officials trying to hoodwink the wife of the oil worker. Suddenly dreaming up this "people smuggling" racket by way of an explanation and when she turned up at the husband's mistress' church it was obvious that she was the one sat there in a big pink hat.

Not good

Cambridge man you know. His uncle Bertie and I used to break wind for our college.
