Hometown by Peter Davis

I hope to see this film. It reminds me of a book called Hometown by Peter Davis. He asked an expert in the US Census Bureau to find him a town to write about. He gave the man all the parameters and the man said go to Hamilton, Ohio, which Davis did in 1983.

It had to big wough have a full range of public and private institutions but small enough for people to have known one another for generations.

The book was the result. Its non fiction.
