Why does Uwe Boll keep getting work?

I was doing some research into all the Video Games Boll has ruined on the silver screen, when I came across this movie and read the synopsis... Not only was this movie made... But it got two sequels...

Who keeps giving Uwe Boll money to make this trash? That money could be well spent on charities and donations... But not, the world decided we needed three of these abominations and yet, Uwe Boll still keeps finding work.
