Chris Fable?

Saw this at the Redbox a week or so ago. The thing that grabbed me was the shameless use of the Harry Potter lightening font for the title, "The Adventures of Chris Fable." Other than that, I lost interest after the junkyard scenes.

I saw that too LOL! Wonder if there is any kind of law against it. Any trick they can to spread the word I guess... I HATE Christian films hidden behind a regular cover. If that is what it is then be PROUD of it... State it on the cover!!! ...just so I don't rent it by mistake for my family.

You would also have to overlook that they quoted Matthew 7:13-14 ?Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it."

This response is more to Amanda than too the original poster. The Pilgrim's Progress is one of the greatest allegorical works outlining the Christian faith. The original is footnoted every few lines by verse after verse reference. So few today, who begin the book endure to the end due to the difficulty of it being written in 17th century English which is a shame because as I said, it's fantastic literature (took me months of starting and stopping for me to get through it even though I knew the story through other exposure...so very worth it!) I've strayed off topic. Apologies. With 4+ centuries of critical acclaim and notoriety, was the writing on the cover saying "based on The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan" not more-than-sufficient notification that it's a Christian movie considering that there is not existent a single work more directly about the Bible and the Christian Faith... excepting the Bible of course. Not hidden. Proudy declared (not sinful pride).
