Dramody

We need to have a new category for these films so I can avoid them.

This film is not serious enough to be a good drama and not funny enough to be a good comedy. This film had nothing nothing to it, I didn't laugh once but the drama didn't work either as the situations weren't believable. The mass walk out by people half way through the film summed up my feelings, I wish I'd walked out with them. I stuck with it to the end hoping it would pick up for a big setup but it was a total bore.

This film doesn't know what it wants to be and is a total mess, 4/10 for me.

Yep, that pretty much sums up my feelings, too.

It's also good to know that I'm not the only one who actually witnessed people walking out of the film halfway through.

I might have walked away too, but I saw it the other night as the in-flight movie.... I did choose it from Virgin's seat back entertainment system..but it was too late to start another movie..so I stuck with it..

not that great.

Maan same here, a long flight from Vegas back to Atlanta.
I would have left the movie too but that'd require jumping out of a plane. a fate much better than sitting through this drivel. I even changed the language to Spainish but not even that helped, though Molly sounds much sexier.

Definitely wasn't THAT bad, but I was expecting a comedy, too, instead of a drama. I thought the three main actors were doing a good job and was graciously surprised at Mr. Reilly in a serious role.

I felt that the plot was too basic, though, and that there was not enough going on besides the main story to merit a second viewing. Also, I thought the soundtrack wasn't a perfect match. I gave it 6/10 mainly because of the actors (although Jonah Hill's expressions don't really vary that much).
