Unwatchable.

Trying to sit through this film was like pulling teeth! Devoid of wit, not a single laugh, zero empathy for any of the characters, plot was essentially non-existent yet somehow managed to drag on and on, dreary grey cinematography that didn't engage, Jonah Hill's character was utterly detestable and not even in a love-to-hate-them way, just pure please-let-this-movie-end-soon loathing. The only minor plus point was Marisa Tomei's pretty face, and even that was difficult to admire when she played such a stupid, gullible and boring character.

There are worse films out there, but usually they have some form of cheesy appeal, cult status and/or or unintentional comedic element due to how bad they are, like The Room.
This one is just tripe. Tripe mixed with all bran cereal. You chew and chew and it doesn't get any easier to swallow. Honestly I do not know how or why it ever got the green light in the first place. Whoever made the pitch must have had some serious dirt on a big name.

The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.
