The scenes where Alec Baldwin has to sing and bob his head up and down to the music were really hard to watch...
I couldn't help feel a little embarrised for him trying to look cool with his awful hair extensions... He looked and sounded horribly out of place..
I can just imagine his agent pitching him this film, what was he thinking ?
It says in the trivia part that he hated this movie that he only did it to work with tom cruise

While there are a lot of embarrassing performance in this movie, I agree that his character was the worst. Even Russell Brand wasn't bad. Catherine Zeta Jones wasn't bad, and I always love Paul Giamatti.

BUT ALEC BALDWIN .... there was something about him that he was just sticking out like a big old sore thumb... It looked wrong, it sounded wrong and it felt wrong..
It was just wrong and someone should of recognized before they had him out there foolishly head bobbing and giving his best version of air guitar to an old Poison song... really really bad.. No excuse
Agreed. Nobody gave a great performance except maybe arguably Cruise, but even with all the flaws of the cast Baldwin was the worst

shareI think this movie could have been so much better if they had cast members that could actually sing. Specifically baldwin and brand. They were the worst part of the movie. Baldwin cant sing and act the part for sh!t, and brand is annoying as hell.
