The film was promising up until...
the bikers walked into the bar. When the lead guy smashes a bottle onto
his head my eyes rolled. It only went down hill from there.

This was supposed to be a light hearted throwback to creature features of the 80's. I thought the bikers were great, even if they were exaggerated.
shareYeah, the bikers didn't work for me either... their goofiness didn't fit with the rest of the movie. Not that the movie wasn't all over the place anyway.
Also, having them leave but just happen to show up again in the shack for the big finale... that needed more setup not to look like a lame plot-driven coincidence.
There might be some cultural reference here that I'm not aware of though... because I've seen a few French films that had a similar trio of menacing but comical villains.
... they introduced a supernatural element. I think it was meant to be a big twist, but it just felt very contrived.🐭
