charlottes very bad strategy...

ok i did enjoy this movie
BUT
1.when they were runnin out of options and things were lookin grimm for charlotte and hitchiker boy they could of easily run past the pack..the pack may have been plentiful and had some stregnth but they were about as fast as a romero zombie..

2.and this being the most obvious point..after the old lady dies at the house why in the hell did charlotte and hitcher boy even go back to the farm or shack to begin with..the obvious thing was to just get the hell out of dodge ..what was the purpose of taking on the pack to begin with....i was scratchin my head on that one cuz she was free and clear..going back to the farm was idiotic..

I wondered the same thing. This movie was pretty bad though. So many plot holes. The mom got shot witt shotgun at close range and still was alive? They tried to pass it off as her wearing metal armor underneath. Even thought it was only chain mail it wouldn't be near enough to stop a shotgun blast. Better yet you would think Charlotte and the Old guy would notice the absence of blood. You would think one would bleed out after being shot in a chest.

Of course I was scratching my head wondering why they would run back to the shack. It made ZERO sense.

1. After picking up a hitchhiker why does she feel so at peace with him does she allow him to drive and shortly thereafter fall asleep?
2. Why, after John John BRANDS her with a smoking red-hot set of letters and pumps her full of some nasty tube-food would she forgive him?
3. Why, after she decides to leave with J.J. did the old man stick around to do nothing but die?
4. Why, after she decides to leave with J.J. did she decide to go try to kill the monsters after having been drained of blood and barely able to walk?
5. Why did the zombie-mole men not kill her the first night she was hanging on the pole?
6. Why do the zombie-mole men wear clothing and carry tools and how is it that this clothing is as indestructible as they are?
7. Why does the couple immediately decide to befriend and trust the bikers who wanted to rape them?
8. Why do they suggest barricading the place with rotten wood instead of just calmly shooting the old woman in the head and walking away and around the slow moving mole-men?
9. Why, after all these bad decisions, when she's finally getting bitten and eaten by the mole-man, does she look like she's about to sexually climax?
10. Why, after this, is she back hanging on a pole with 1 missing leg?

I can answer all 10 of these questions together by saying one simple line : This movie makes no since.

I had the same questions and I like your answer. Sometimes I figure I miss out on some sort of cultural subtext in foreign (to me) films when I don't understand them, but this one was just a hot mess. Too bad, the actors were all very good.

Ohhhhh ... I do have one more question to add. Boy wrapped in bubble wrap wtf??

They're coming to get you, Barbara!

11. Why was one of the bikers reading a book in the cabin during the zombie attack? The zombies were attacking and the cabin was on fire, yet the biker read. Everyone else was fighting and shooting but he was so deeply into in his book that he didn't even look up. Did he think fighting was pointless so might as well read?

Why was one of the bikers reading a book in the cabin during the zombie attack?
I had the feeling it may have been the bible, but it was just ridiculous when everyone else was fighting for their lives.🐭

I understand and share your thoughts. What I don't understand is how you
enjoyed this movie with such terrible flaws. Another point I would like to
make is why would the son suddenly shift sides and go with the girl???
There was no concrete reasons for him to do so. It made no sense. I thought
this movie sucked.

Why would she want to be anywhere near him after he branded her, that had to hurt.

Those are 3 main things that bothered me the most about this movie:

1. Why after almost escaping and shooting the evil mother in the cage, the protagonist suddenly felt the urge to exterminate all the creatures? and why on earth would she so carelessly team up with one of her kidnappers (the evil mother's son), without a question?

2. On what basis the bikers believed the story about the "incoming danger" without questioning anything? and why did they so carelessly teamed up with the protagonist and the evil mother's son?

3. And why the hell noboddy didn't even try to shoot the creatures in the HEAD?!?

This movie was entertaining yes, but some parts just didn't really made much sense, if any at all.
