Just saw it tonight- and wow, this film is so overlooked, its really unfair. A fresh, gory, tongue-in-cheek take on the overused zombie/vampire genre... this was marketed unfairly, could have been a smash indie hit with the right push. i'll be doing my bit to make sure people see it.

shareAs a horror/zombie fan I'm surprised I hadn't heard of this one sooner. I saw it listed on HBO and the plot description sounded interesting. I'm glad I watched it -- "The Revenant" is a bit overlong and could use a bit more star power ( the leads are likeable but not charismatic enough ) but the story is original and the effects are good. I'll help spread the word !

Don't think I ever heard of it until I was watching a comic-con type interview pre-premier of the TV series - IZombie and the cast was saying it was their favourite zombie flick.
The first to say this was David Anders - but I think other iZomie cast members may have been in Revenant too.
