Was there a filmed-in-Japanese-language version ever completed/released?

In the trivia section, there's this:

"According to Keanu Reeves, filming was first done in Japanese for the sake of the supporting cast, and then filming was done in English."

Made it that version ever to and through post-production?

If so, does Keanu Reeves speak Japanese there? (I mean, he himself, not someone else dubbing him.)

I know there are BDs/Blu-ray 3Ds out there with a Japanese soundtrack. Is that this filmed-in-Japanese track or just just a dub?
