Setting lost it right from the beginning


I get they needed a haunted-house like building, but c'mon?
A building is condemned, ready to be torn down in 1 month, and yet the "tenants" are regular people and families casually carrying on like friendly neighbours?
It might have been more believable if they used a "nice Building" instead for character development, or at least use a family squatters, drug abusers and/or gang members to take on the Book.

It was far too convenient the way they conjured up the series of events leading to the passage.. very disappointing.

Just another modern day empty script with with gratuitous gore. At least ED13 made a solid attempt at making the setting believable..
