Ridiculous

I know Fara was the queen and she loved her husband the shah but she's not stupid she knows the horrors of his reign. Why not be honest and talk about it..

And the horrors after a hell of a lot worse thats when the filmmaker brother was hanged not during the Kings Raine ,Do you think it better now? Hardly

Perhaps she would have talked more about what happen during the Shah's reign. But, Ms Persson left the "awkward" questions until very late in the film, didn't really pursue the subject as much as she should have done and rather let Farah off the hook after a couple of obviously well-rehearsed answers. So, that was a bit unsatisfying... What worked better was when we saw Ms Persson get quite emotional, telling Farah about being brought up in poverty during the Shah's reign... It was an interesting film. But, it missed a few opportunities... Where we see Farah 'phone the guy in Iran and she talks about sending her old i-pod to someone else, I would have liked to know if she genuinely does stuff like that all the time, or if it was just for the benefit of the camera on that one occasion... The guy outside the royalist meeting in Berlin... I would have liked to see Ms Persson arrange for him to actually meet Farah, or, at least, tell her what had happened to him and get her reaction... And, the girls in Paris who wanted to have their photo taken with Farah... Was it just because she was a "celebrity"..? There were a few things like that. But, like I said, it was interesting.

I posted a short analysis regarding your question as a new topic on the board, rather than replying to you directly... I invite you to read it.

What is she going to say? The leaders of every country commit various acts of horror because when you operate on a scale of millions of people individual lives take on the significance of ants.
