Hilarious & Suspensful Hidden Gem

My buddy showed me this movie a while back. What a glorious mix of a thriller and comedy. I'm not normally a huge fan of a movies that are somewhat serious but have elements of comedy (Like Rush Hour). I just find the mix to be off putting; The generic comedy with cheesy lines ruins any sense of suspense but at the same time I don't find it funny enough to be taken as a solid comedy.

This one got me though. At times I was locked in suspense, wondering what was going to happen next, other times I was losing it at the interactions between the two main characters and the imaginary party guests. I'm not a huge fan of the ending but I'm not sure what other direction you could take it.
