Pretty good for SciFi (or Syfy)

I was quite impressed with this made for SciFi movie. The set was spot on, with all the architectural details of the exterior showing up consistently in the interior. (One big blooper though: white walls on a '48 Ford? Not yet....) The acting was pretty good. All members of the team knew their roles and didn't drop them when it started to become not your usual haunted house. The only one sleep walking through lines was the star Charisma, but maybe that's her style. All in all a much better movie than I expected.

I could not agree more.

The architectural detail for the house, along with the opening sequence in the past lead me to believe that the set designer, cinematographer etc. put forth a great deal of effort to set the creapy tone for the movie.

yeah i liked this movie,, way better than the series GhostHUnters, liked the ending too.

I agree, The movie was pretty good for a "syfy" movie. Usually their movies dont keep my interest for long but I watched this the whole way through. Good movie.

it was ok untill the last 10 mins,it was like a fulci movie "we cant think of a ending,*beep* it any old bollocks will do"

I wasn't going to watch this until I saw this thread. It's almost a natural law that Syfy movies suck. I'll give this a watch though.

"Pretty good for SyFy" ain't saying much for sure. And as you say, this movie may be better only because of the house set.
Other than that, it was complete garbage, which is in keeping with all the other made-for-SyFy movies.

Agreed 100%.

Its not a great movie but it was entertaining for what it was. I laid in bed and watched it this morning and it kept my interest to the very end. Charisma Carpenter looked bored and basically sleep walked through her role, but she clearly looked bummed out to be doing a SyFy movie. And I've heard shes a stuck up bitch in real life, so who knows.
