Amonia
Why were they pouring amonia down Sarah's mouth before putting her in the well? And what did they pour in after her (in the well)?

It looks like to me that they wanted to use the ammonia to poison the house. They 'fed' it a body like it wanted, but it was a poisoned body. When the body was dropped the house started to heal itself, but then shortly after they poured the ammonia the wounds returned and it started bleeding from the water pipes. Just my thoughts.
