How is Setara doing?
Does anyone know what she's doing now?
shareJust saw a documentary, Silencing The Song, about her life after Afghan Star. Due to the problems she faced in her home town of Herat, she had to move to Kabul. She got married and was pregnant. She had to remain in hiding and carried a gun for her protection.
Sadly, her son Mohammed died 10 weeks after he was born due to complications during her pregnancy.
The final notes were her music career was on hold.
Oh, that's so sad. I wish she would/could emigrate to a country where she'd be safer.
