it's not LOVE..it's just STOCKHOLM SYNDROME!!!!!

I have seen lot of reviews saying Ragini falls in love with Beera...But to me it seemed like it's nothing more "Stockholm syndrome"..

well,"Stockholm syndrome is a term used to describe a paradoxical psychological phenomenon wherein hostages express adulation and have positive feelings towards their captors that appear irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims"..

The reasons are
1)Hostages who develop Stockholm syndrome often view the perpetrator as giving life by simply not taking it. In this sense, the captor becomes the person in control of the captive’s basic needs for survival and the victim’s life itself.

2) The hostage endures isolation from other people and has only the captor’s perspective available. Perpetrators routinely keep information about the outside world’s response to their actions from captives to keep them totally dependent.

3)The captive sees the perpetrator as showing some degree of kindness. Kindness serves as the cornerstone of Stockholm syndrome; the condition will not develop unless the captor exhibits it in some form toward the hostage. However, captives often misinterpret a lack of abuse as kindness and may develop feelings of appreciation for this perceived benevolence.

I would even think Stockholm syndrome is an exaggeration. She comes to understand him better, but there's never any "love". When she returns, it is only to find out if he really said awful things to her husband when they were hanging on the bridge. She finds out he said the opposite. But then she also finds she baited a trap to catch Beera alone so her husband could annihilate him. We don't get to see her interaction with Dev after that, but it would have been interesting to witness her scrambled emotions now that she knows how Beera really feels and the depths her husband, Dev, can stoop to in order to "win" the battle. To me the movie ends on the same uncertain note as Dil Se.
