I definitely watch a bio-pic on any of the artists listed in your post, especially Phyllis Hyman and DeBarge.

How about Billy Preston and Minnie Ripperton?

Biopics on Millie Jackson, and George Clinton would be a hoot and yes on DeBarge, and Phyllis Hyman too.

If they were to do a movie on Phyllis Hyman, they could get either: Faith Evans, Keke Wyatt, or Elle Varner to play the part. Has to be someone that can easily transform into her look-wise and an out there, off-the-wall personality. Or they could save Varner for an Angela Bofill biopic.

I think KeKe Wyatt would kill the hell outta that role of Phyllis Hyman. I can hear her right now killing the hell out "Living All Alone". She would do great.

I agree. I've been praying on a Phyllis Hyman bio-pic forever. Like smokybrowneyes said, it has to be someone who can get her look down. Ms. Hyman had a larger than life persona. Shoot, the woman was six feet tall. Keke Wyatt would nail her if she truly took it seriously.Lord knows that woman can sAng, and I always thought she bore a striking resemblance to Phyllis Hyman.

Man, "Living All Alone" is such a powerful song. Did you ever see her perform it live? I'm talking CHILLS.

Phyllis Hyman. They need to do her bio and do it right. Still hard for me to listen to her songs and not cry.
