Who was the unluckiest group on "Unsung"?

Who was the unluckiest music group on "Unsung"? I think it might be DeBarge. I wasn't a big fan, but know they had a lot of drug problems. I think Lloyd Parks is the sole survivor of the original Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes.

Who is the unluckiest music group who wasn't on "Unsung"? The Temptations had their share of heartaches. That group wasn't exactly unsung. But two members, Eddie Kendrick and David Ruffin, had their own solo "Unsung" episode.

The unlucky rock groups I can think of are Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Badfinger, The Ramones and Styx. When I was a kid I heard Led Zeppelin were cursed.

DeBarge.

Also Hi-Five, the BarKays, the Sylvers and Musical Youth stand out for their bad luck.

Very eerie.

For me it is hands down, Hi-Five.

*lead singer (Tony) dies from overdose

*founding member (Roderick "Pooh" Clark) paralyzed for life while on the road

*Russell is currently in jail for murdering his wife as the episode airs

*Treston shot multiple times but thankfully survived

*founding member Toriano jailed 15 yrs. for attempted murder before the group
took off and was replaced

It's like they had a curse.

Mycalangelo, you got this one!

I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ-Gandhi

Wow, didn't know Treston from Hi-Five has been shot once, much less five times. There have unfortunately been too many. Hi-Five, Debarge family, Ohio Players, and the not-unsung Temptations come immediately to my mind.

Omg! I had no idea those things were happening to them. They seemed so innocent and clean cut when they first started. 

Heatwave

Johnny Wilder Jr.-Paralyzed in Auto Accident
Mario Mantese-Stabbed in the heart, paralyzed + more, never returned.
Rod Temperton-Quit band then went on to write big songs for Michael Jackson, Rufus, Brothers Johnson, George Benson, Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock among others (but did continue to write occasional songs for Heatwave.)

What could have been if those 3 all stayed in the band/full health (in Wilder's case)
