For those who want to, let's say Tommy's post-visit eruption leads to a determination to escape with Kathy. How might they do it?

They'd have to go back to the cottages and plan. The first step would probably be to cut out the microchip. But if it didn't get swiped within...24 hours?...the search for them would begin. So they'd have to ask an accomplice at the Cottages to swipe for them, buying them some extra time.

Then what? Should they leave the country or try to live underground in the UK?

Is a little more complex then that, the clones were genetically modified to accept their faith.. did you not find it a little odd that when the teacher told them about their future cut short, none of them reacted, at no point there is an hint of rebellion, at no point they plot about escaping... actually Kathy at the end monologue mention how proud the donors are on fulfilling their duties.
