(uncanny comics) pick your own X-Men team!

ok so this is how its going to work, pick six x-men from 1960's,1970's, 1980's, 1990's or 2000's Uncanny X-men comics ONLY that you would like to have in your team

heres my 6 and why.....

1) Psylocke (Elizabeth 'Betsy' Braddock) (from the 80s when she looked sexy and was hardcore all at the same time)

2) Storm (Ororo Munroe) (with the punk look and after she stoped trying to mother Kitty all the time 80's)

3) Iceman (Bobby Drake) (with the look he was sportting in the 60's when he had that frosty the snowman thing going no and was more snow then ice)

4) Shadowcat (Katherine 'Kitty' Pryde) (i liked her 80's look better then her 90's one, its been really nice to see her grow and change over the years i just wish she stayed with the uncanny x-men for longer

5) Jubilee (Jubilation Lee)(after M-day and after she stoped saying "dude" and Rad every 2 secounds)

6) Angel (Warren Worthington III) (before the Arch was added... the guy has way cool wings!

anyway thats my list i guess you can see i have a soft spot for the 80's and 90s x-men....

so who makes the cut on your team and why, rember the rules say only people that have at some point in time been part of the uncanny X-men comics

Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean Gray, Night crawler, either deadpool/Gambit/Rogue or storm

Well I'd have to say that:

1. Wolverine and I'm talking about the one in the Origins Wolverine game as he's a badass and vicious. Anything or anyone stands in the way Wolverine will make short work of them.

2. Cyclops: Well he's a classic character

3. Storm: as she is able to be one with the weather and whip up a nice tornado if the situation calls for it.

4. DeadPool: He is an ace with the swords

5. Gambit: A great fighter and classic X Man

and lastly:

6. Rogue: reason being she sucks the life out of enemies.

does the game control well? i was thinking of getting it for my ps3 but we all know how most films made into games turn out..... gamespot gave it a 7/10, what did you think?

also i wouldnt call Gambit a classic X-Men he didnt even turn up till 1991 he was classic in the 90s cartoon but not what i call a classic X-Men from the uncanny comics

Cyclops lost ALOT of respect from me in the 80s when he marriaged a woman just because she looked like jean (she turned out to be a jean clone and Cyclops stole her baby!)

i like Rogue, she started life in the comics as a baddy but she became a strong part of the team, its sad that she cant kiss and hold anyone she loves, i feel sorry for her, hers is the only power i would HATE to have myself

Storm is like the mother hen of the group and any team is better for haveing her with them, she can hold the team togther and most of the time is a very good leader

Yeah the gameplay and the controls play very well. I had a lot of fun ramming my metal encrusted claws in some stupid and wimpering guard who was stupid enough to try and shoot me- skull. the moves that Wolverine does is just jaw dropping. I did enjoy it a lot.
