Hot dogs worse than cigarettes

Another gem from people pretending to do science when it's really politics:

Within the USA Today article you linked there is the following:

The research linking colorectal cancer and processed meat is convincing, says a 2007 report by the World Cancer Research Fund and American Institute for Cancer Research.

Just one 50-gram serving of processed meat -- about the amount in one hot dog -- a day increases the risk of colorectal cancer, on average, by 21 percent, the study found.

Here are links to both the World Cancer Research Fund and The American Institute for Cancer Research.

Neither of which are associated with anti-meat industry lobbyists or organizations, but rather exist for the purpose of pooling cancer research and promoting a general message to facilitate the reduction of cancer occurrence in the world and America.

Anyone is more than welcome to do a little research themselves to determine the validity of the statement given above that a diet consisting of roughly one hot dog a day (or any processed meat) would result in a 21% increase in the risk of colorectal cancer.

Yea, that says hot dogs are more dangerous that cigarettes. STUPID. And these nuts wonder why we laugh at them.

Are you contesting the quote in my post?

Oh, I remember you. You're that idiot that can't read, can't comprehend, or just argue for the point of making noise. I thought I put you on ignore. Time to fix that.

So are you contesting the point made in the quote?
