I just caught a quick glimpse in the Oscar clip, and I think it's "Kohler's Pig" by Michael Sowa. He's one of my favorite artists. I have several of his prints - Kohler's Pig, Bear, Bunny Dressing, and Pig in Soup. He has many more I wish were available. Here's the pig, but check out his catalog at art.com:

edit: I found a short trailer of the film, and it's definitely Sowa's pig. It's an extreme close-up, that while you get the charm of the pig's expression, you lose the story of his running off the dock with the appearance of flying. In the grandest version, you see a farmhouse in the distance. It's a picture well-worthy of being the focus of this film. I wish it had won so to build interest in Sowa's work as a whole.
