So bad...

This show was so poorly written, directed, and acted. I only watched because of Chadwick Boseman. The last two episodes were the only good episodes, except for the ending.

One thing I didn't like about the show was that the writers didn't build up certain moments in the series. For example, when the tunnel idea failed. The group had worked on the tunnel for a week but this was reduced to a 5 minute span. There wasn't enough time invested to show how hard the group worked. So when the planned failed, it just seemed like a small idea down the toilet. Another moment was when Eulrich was killed. I felt like the writers should have written more scenes of Eulrich helping the group so that when he died it would have been a more tragic moment.

First of all, let's not act like this is a decent show and the acting is amazing because it's not. I can hardly remember most of the show by this time because I watched it awhile ago AND it was a below average show.

I didn't describe a "different" show, I describe the same show but with more time invested in the above scenes. If the scenes would have had more time invested then the failures would have been more tragic. I think most people didn't even care that those plans failed because there was little time put into them.

Anything else?

If you go back and watch the show with the previously unreleased episode it gives you a tiny bit more connection and detail about him... Although if you do watch it it tends to be listed as episode 13 on most available platforms like Vudu etc. but it actually was supposed to be episode 11! They just so happened to skip it when airing them originally so it is now listed out of order.

My biggest issues with this series is that it started with an interesting plot and storyline however fell flat shortly into it... Then right towards the very end really built up and got viewers interested and hooked all over again just to end the series on a cliffhanger as the stupid networks always tend to do to us! Because as always they don't care about what we as the viewers want to see anymore! It is all about what they want to push on us! I really wanted to like this show but for so long it really lost me however right at the end I actually really was left wanting to know who they would have played out that next storyline because it seemed far more interesting with the boat and the two separate stories going on...!!! But ending the way it did was so predictable because it was as much of a letdown for the show to be cancelled by the network as forcing myself to sit though the middle of the show during the parts that weren't so great! It wasn't the best but it could have been or even possibly gotten better but all in all no one will ever know because typically the networks never give anything a chance anymore and they most definitely don't put any effort into the writing or who writes this stuff... Too bad too! Oh well!
