In the final "What can you do?" segment, one of the points is to boycott the electric company and switch to using the more efficient energy sources mentioned earlier, which it claims is cheap and insinuates is easy.
It does not go into any detail as HOW to do this, or even where to begin! I would LOVE my house to run on independent and sustainable energy. The movie did not bother explaining HOW!

then figure it out for yourself. or do you need another documentary walking you through each step while you're on your roof. i'm willing to bet a community college near you might offer a workshop on how to do it. the one here in San Francisco did last year and i think they're still doing it. not sure.
