Stop Gun Crime !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
Critics will hate it, the public will love it.
Some very funny moments and some very average moments but very watchable.
Johnny Lee Miller, very odd but very funny

Lol I liked the bit where James played the old boarding school friend.

Any intelligent critic will hate it, certainly, but I really doubt that the public will love it. Even by BBC 3's standards, this was drivel. There wasn't one funny moment in it. It was self indulgent rubbish, even lamer than I was expecting it to be.

And I just get the feeling that the BBC will commission another series afterall that's what they do don't they? Not like in the old days whereby if a show flopped it was taken off and never spoken of ever again, but now they're more than happy to foist their, unfunny, crappy, crummy crud upon us at every turn. If licence fee evasion wasn't illegal I bet many people would be boycotting it in their droves!!
shareIn the old days the BBC were great for giving shows a chance to develop, giving them a second series even if they didn't get stellar viewing figures for the first series. This was a real boon for sit-coms that needed the time to round out characters.
H&C, on the other hand, should never be spoken off again.
And now the situation is reversed. If a comedy show is crap it's automatically given another series, but if it's good it's taken off. Who's to know whether The Old Guys will get another series, now that's a FUNNY sitcom!
