Why is there no episodes after the 5th?
I mean when r they gonna continue the show? and y was it postponed?

Season 1 consisted on 13 episodes.... Based on the conclusion, I do not see a Season 2 being made.

There are 13 episodes in Season One. Somehow you must have missed them when they played. Keep watching the Cinemax schedule as they repeat. Or check out On Demand if your cable company offers it.
