I really hated Summer in this.

She was the most useless character in this show, and what a flipping hypocrite. There was no need for her in this show, she was not a parent, had nothing to do with gymnastics, was annoying, fake and I just can't believe some of the best guys in the show were falling for her shiznit. I wished they would have given better story lines to Chloe, and kept her relationship with Steve. It was more believable.

I loved Steve and Chloe, it's probably my favorite pairing of the show.

Summer was really annoying but she did have the occasional moment where I liked her. She does have one of the biggest WTF moments of the series for me though. Her whole spiel where she almost has sex with Sasha and then talks about Sasha being "a man she can't have" always confused me. He respected your values and cared more about you and your faith than his desires and that's a bad thing? What?

The world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters.

/////My biggest beef with Summer, was how she did not like Steve dating Chloe, and every chance she got, she would put some sort of input to Steve about how she dislikes it. First, Lauren tells her how Chloe and her dad are having sex, and Summer actually goes up to Steve and tells him it's not right. I'm like, first, who in the fk are you to tell me how I am going to act in my own house. Regardless, Steve has always been easily pushed around by the women in his life, so he and Chloe made an altimatum, by agreeing to meet up at a hotel. But then, Lauren tells Summer about how Chloe knows she's having sex, and then lies about how Chloe encourages it. Summer tells Steve, which breaks up him and Chloe, but then amazing enough, little miss perfect gets back with Steve, only to one day come to the Tanner house and find Lauren in her undies getting photographed by a boy, Summer threatens to tell her dad, but in the end, Lauren convinces her to keep quiet, and pretty much, does the what she was so quick to rat out Chloe for. This, makes her a hypocrite.

It's also funny, the Chloe character was attracted to Sasha, likes Steve, but yet, little miss perfect has both men fighting for her, when in reality, we know they would be fighting over Chloe. Not to mention, I think Lauren was right about Summer, she was after her father's money. She was a regular at the fancy restaurant, had her own perfect little house, bling, designer clothes and what not, while Chloe pays for everything, and never asks Steve for a handout. Not to mention, his mother loved her. Too bad the show couldn't continue, I would have loved it if mom came back on again, and saw right through Summer's fakeness and told her off and then told Steve to get back with Chloe, who was the real deal. Summer's breaking up with Sasha because he didn't share her beliefs was a copout. She was attracted to him, but she was more attracted to Steve's bank account.

And I really hated how they wrote out Chloe, that the last we see of her, is that the daughter she fought so hard for, just slaps her in the face for all of the hard work, gets pregnant and runs off, leaving Chloe with a disabled son and working at a strip club. She should have gotten the job at The Rock, not Summer, but, I guess Candice Cameron Bure has a better agent.

Another reason I didn't like Summer, she took up to much storylines from the gymnasts. Sometimes, I swore she was maybe second or third top character on the show behind Emily and Kaylie.

And oh, the reason why Summer ended up turning down Sasha, was because it wasn't enough for her that he understood and respected her faith, she wanted him to completely convert, and I guess she got disgusted with him when he wanted Emily to have the abortion to save her career.
