There is a book out called "Tumbling" by Caela Carter about girls going through the Olympic trials that's pretty good and it's also really realistic. It's not as dramatic as this show but it's a pretty good book though.

I've also bought one that was written by Shawn Johnson about a girl wanting to go to the Olympics and I'm going to start it when I'm done with this one. I read the description for the one you are talking about and it seems pretty good as well especially since there seems to be some suspense mixed in
