I'm not that good in English and movie had no subtitles - so I just couldn't understand - how the monster was called for the first time on the radio by dj and then later by old man Haas. Sounded like "Alaskan cockatoo" - is it right?

Thanks for reply ;) But is there a legend of some kind about "Alaskan cockatoo"? Because it sounds absolutely ridiculous - a big Alaskan parrot??? Why would they think about such nonsense in the first place?
Anyway it makes me laugh - so maybe it was supposed to be a joke.
"Alaskan Cockatoad". That's what was scripted.
