And the story felt like it wasn't heading anywhere.

What did you expect? It's a Canadian movie. I actually just read the title of this movie and knew right away that it was Canadian. Canadian movies generally REALLY suck!

i dont think it was that bad of acting as much as its just really bad writing.
I dont think the best of actors could have made these lines work
