I hope sincereity is an anti-emetic, here.

Well, I'm in the mood for a sugar fix, so I will go to see this somewhat corny-looking film, and I will probably enjoy it, too.

I just hope that it doesn't end up being too twee and earnest for its own good.

The appeal, from reading the reviews of the movie, for me is two-part: One, how an ordinary comely-looking girl goes out looking for the meaning of love (and how folks stay "in love") & two, How an owl-eyed "Ms. Average Looking" ends up snagging Mr. Popular Actor Cutie-Pie, Michael Cera (All the ladies love Michael Cera!)

I can just hear all the fan girls screaming: "Duuuuuude, that so could have been me!!!" Well yeah, ... but for the fact that Ms. Yi runs with Cera's friends amoung them is (fellow comedian) Seth Rogan, so meeting Mike (at a party?) probably wasn't all that hard to do, or out-of-the-ordinary (?)

We'll see. I am in one of THOSE moods.
