What's the deal?


Movie looks like it was made in 1985. Why they saying 2009?

If you click the official site link here at IMDB it looks like the film was shot in '85. But it says it was re-edited etc. Sometimes movies get held up for decades, for reasons involving music publishing rights etc. Or simply the film just ran out of money during post production. It's anyone's guess.

Lately a few movies that never received a release theatrically or on home video have been coming out. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Fabulous Stains from '81 comes to mind. That one was only available as a bootleg for the longest time but was released officially for the first time on DVD this year.

The main reason its taken so long to be released is because most film studios had the sense not to put this piece of *beep* out in the public.
