And "Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac" has been retained in the title, it looks like, so no worries for fans of the original American title. Yes, Somebody Kissed Me is kind of shoujo-lame, but this is also a very different market. After all, American distributors have renamed foreign films to play better for an American audience as well.

Yeah I guess I was just unfamilar with his movies in which they didn't mess with it. From Charlie Bartlett and Terminator 4 I had assumed it was straight.

www.darekiss.com has been updated, with a new trailer! The list of theaters that are going to show it in Japan seem impressive - I do think they are going to do a heavy marketing push for it now that it's closer to release date.
