Not very Christmassey
Didn't seem like Christmas in Christmas Town. It was very green and sunny, and no one was wearing winter clothes. It seemed like summer.
We had a greenish Christmas last year, very mild. It felt odd.

I live in New Orleans. We often spend Christmas in shorts and t-shirts. But, by December, we have already had cold fronts and maybe even some freezes. So, the leaves are gone and everything is brown.
It is not as Christmassey as cold weather, but it is more Christmassey than green.
So, I agree with you, warm and green is very odd.
