Haven't heard or read anything about a further series being in the works?
This one seems to have slipped under the radar a bit. I don't know many people that have seen it, but those that have loved it at least.

Word just got out according to the British Comedy Guide:
"The BBC has confirmed it has ordered a second series of The Old Guys, the sitcom which stars Roger Lloyd Pack and Clive Swift as two ageing delinquents."

I love the theme music, it's ridiculous, that's its charm!
I am very excited about the second series, hopefully that means a dvd. The laughter track was annoying, but I lived with it for black books and it crowd, i'll live with it through this!
