Heard Alain Delon was attached before Hallyday


Damn, that wud have been some perfect casting. Hallyday was just alright.

I think it was probably due to the film being a bit cliched in some aspect for a revenge flick. He's done a lot of those kinds of films and I think he was looking for something more refreshing.

Alain Delon would have made brought the movie up. The first time Hallyday's face is shown I was thinking what the hell????? His eyes looked like that Bride of Wildenstein.

Alain Delon is a brilliant actor and would have no doubt owned the role, but even he could not have saved this floundering mess. The report is he hated the script and I don't blame him for thinking this story was stupid - in fact, it increased my respect for him knowing he had the sense to avoid this joke of a film. He probably got to the scene where Costello prays in the water and angels appear and threw the script out the window, much like I did with the DVD.
