Help with the Ending SPOILERS

Ok so I just watched the movie, Overall I really liked it but I am a bit confused. What the hell happened to his Daughter? She was being sent to France when he went on his rampage to get revenge. Then at the end he does and is just on the beach with the lady and her kids (I am assuming she was the wife of one of the triad guys who got killed, Kwai). So did his daughter die? Did he just forget about her? Should he still have the photos to remind him?

I guess he forgot about her completely. As for what happened to her?
After moving back to France she probably died waiting in line for socialized medicine to finally find time to operate on her or something.
Or maybe she was more lucky and lived her life all alone without anyone anywhere. The hitmen are dead so she still has a house and a restarurant.

When he was praying in front of the ocean you saw his daughter and the murdered hit men appear as ghost, so his daughter died
