Don't let the first 30 mins or so fool you, this is a great horror movie. So many movies try this formula and fail, to put together the black comedy and horror, while doing both correctly. This movie goes one step further and throws a romance into the mix. While not the best parts of the movie, the romantic bits are easily overlooked by how well done the last 45-60 mins are.

Well done gore, and hilarious comedy, what else could you ask for? I want to say more, but don't want to spoil any moments for anyone who hasn't seen this, so i'll save those for another thread.

And I probably sound like a studio plant, but go ahead and check my history, i'm clearly not. I just REALLY enjoyed this movie, and hope someone will read this post and decide to check it out for themselves. Hopefully they'll like the movie as much as I did.

I quite agree with you. I just saw this flick and it was quite funny and had plenty of gor to get the squick factor going.

I recommend it for a change of pace.

Same here - I found it by chance, started watching it not knowing what it was about and had a very good hour and a half; the mix of torture-porn, horror, comedy and romantic comedy works very well in this film;

references like 'here's Seanie' or the pulp fiction wink when Norman is choosing his weapons are a plus, as much as the beautiful killer that finally refuses to and the first scene: what a hot kick start!
