We enjoyed this movie :-)
We just enjoyed watching the "Santa Buddies" movie and we truly enjoyed it. We had fairly low expectations, knowing it was put out for children, but this movie was actually charming. All of the dogs (not just the "buddies") were adorable, and the movie portrayed love, magic, friendship, and just plain fun in a positive, family-friendly way. We enjoyed many laughs at the pup's antics, and also appreciated the sentimentality between one puppy who sings, and the dog catcher. While this movie is no "Mircale on 34th Street", it does make one smile, and it warms the heart.
By the way, we totally agree with the poster who said the movie should not be promoting the purchase of pups as Christmas presents. A dog is not an item, he/she is a family member who will require much love, attention, and caring for their whole lives.
In any case, if you love dogs, you might enjoy this charming movie - just open your minds and hearts and enjoy it for what it is. Our 2-year old Keeshond absolutely *loved* watching this film with us; when he wasn't barking at Puppy Paws he sat with his eyes glued to the telly the whole time, making it a true Family film for us and our dogs.
